The harmonious group of 150 single-floor, self-contained holiday homes built in locally-produced sandstone and situated on Mellieha Bay is the design of Danish architect Hans Munk Hansen.
The holiday village was opened on 20th May 1979 and has been renovated several times since then. Today, it offers the perfect surroundings for a great vacation.
Mellieha Holiday Centre is often referred to among the locals as ”The Danish Village” – the centre’s owner, FolkeFerie.dk is a Danish travel company and the great majority of guests are therefore Danish.
